New Staff Spotlight: Zoe Sherman, Kindergarten

From the moment our youngest students walk through our doors, we want them to feel welcomed and supported, ready to embark on a journey of lifelong discipleship. In this New Staff Spotlight, we are blessed to welcome Miss Zoe Sherman, our new Kindergarten teacher, who was first attracted to BG Christian by our core values of discipleship and education.

Miss Sherman's biggest desire for her students is that they "feel welcomed and supported throughout the entire year" and that they have a positive learning experience. She brings a unique approach to the classroom, using music to represent different topics and adapting to each child’s unique learning needs. She is also a talented musician who can play the piano and flute and has been singing since 5th grade.

As a teacher, Miss Sherman is committed to helping her students know their unique identity in Christ. She hopes to accomplish this by teaching students that God is always there and that we must lean on Him in every situation. She hopes to walk in faith and show her true self, encouraging her students to do the same because that is who God created them to be. Her presence in the classroom will be a constant reminder of God's love and the truths of His Word.

We are excited to see all the great things that come from her class this year as she joins the BG Christian family.
