Warm Welcomes and Lasting Impressions
BG Christian Senior Spotlight | Christian education | life-long discipleship

When Isabella (Bella) Pardi walked into BG Christian for the first time as a senior, she wasn’t quite sure what to expect. What she found was a community that felt less like stepping into a new school and more like stepping into a long-lost group of friends. Smiles, waves, and introductions flooded her first day—and it didn’t take long before
Bella became part of the BG Christian story.
Though Bella joined in 12th grade, she quickly embraced the mission of BG Christian. In her short time here, she made her mark academically and spiritually, earning honor roll distinction—a personal accomplishment she’s especially proud of after working diligently to improve her grades.
Two teachers in particular shaped Bella’s journey. Mr. Williams, with his dynamic and relatable Bible classes, made Scripture approachable and meaningful. “Sometimes it’s hard to understand the Bible,” Bella shared, “but he made it easier to understand while making it fun and relating it to our lives.” His ability to make spiritual truths both accessible and applicable left a lasting impression.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Magrum’s creative approach to math made numbers come alive. “She taught me math in a way I’ve never experienced before,” Bella explained. “She made learning fun and creative, but also personal to me.” Both teachers poured into Bella not only academically, but also in ways that pointed her toward life-long discipleship.
Bella’s favorite BG Christian memory goes back to that very first day—the moment dozens of her peers extended warm welcomes, making her feel instantly at home. It’s no surprise that when asked what she hopes never changes about BG Christian, she quickly answered: the welcoming and kind atmosphere. That authentic hospitality, rooted in Christ-like love, is something she prays will continue to define the school community for years to come. (Although, in true student fashion, she also cast her vote for “longer times between classes to talk and decompress.”)
Looking ahead, Bella is excited to attend Owens Community College, where she’ll study in the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program. Her passion for this field stems from a deep appreciation for how God designed the human body, and a calling to help others rehabilitate and reach their full potential. It’s a beautiful extension of what she’s learned at BG Christian: using her gifts to serve others for God’s glory.
As we celebrate Bella in this BG Christian senior spotlight, we give thanks for her time here and for reminding us that whether a student joins us for one year or many, the mission of Christian education leaves a lifelong imprint. Bella’s journey is one more testament to how God uses BG Christian to prepare students academically, spiritually, and personally for all He has planned.
Congratulations, Bella! We can’t wait to see where God leads you next.
