The Hollister's are alive and kicking. We love BG Christian and don't understand why enrollment isn't already 1000 strong. God's timing we suppose.
Leah is now 14 and in 8th grade. John is 13 and in 7th grade at BG Christian.

We are very thankful for BGCA. It was great for both of our boys. It provided them with a solid foundation to continue on into the public school system.

Hey everyone... It's been a couple of years since I updated so I thought I would do that. I still spend a lot of my time with my parents and enjoy doing that. Our youngest daughter, Christina, and her family reside in BG now instead of Jamaica. So Jon and I have been enjoying spending time with them and are hoping that they will be here long enough for Joshua to go to BGCA and have Mrs. Herald and Mrs. Windom and MAYBE even Mrs Larson for teachers... but that all depends on how soon they pack up and move to South Carolina. WE LOVE BGCA, but these missionaries have a plan and that is to go to SEMINARY in Columbia SC as soon as Daddy completes his four year degree.
At present, our son still lives in Texas. His oldest, our oldest grandson is a senior this year and recently came in third at a big cross country meet. His team placed first! We are hoping they will continue this and go to state in TEXAS! Our son is still full time army and they plan to relocate him in the spring. SO we might get to see him more often if they put him closer to OHIO.
Our oldest daughter is still in Elyris Ohio. She has fought cancer and won. Her last surgery will be after she returns from a family vacation to Disney World in Orlando. The twins are fourth grade this year and their little sister is beginning Kindergarten. Our daughter was chosen MOTHER OF THE YEAR by the Lorain County Mothers of Twins Club and we are all proud of her!
My husband is talking more and more about retiring, so maybe in the next year or so that will happen... we shall see what we shall see.
My "adoptive" grandson is in Mrs. Herald's Kindergarten this year, so I am hoping to pop in and see what is happening at BGCA a little more than I did last year... I have totally enjoyed catching up with former BGCA students via FaceBook and seeing what everyone is doing!

Hi to all you supporters and alumni out there. Mark and I are in the midst of our 35th year together. How cool is that? I'm still the librarian here and am currently working on automating the collection. I am so thankful to the school for all my four kids got from their years here. Hard to believe thy're 29, 23, and 21 now (and Lisa would have turned 35 on 8/17!!) And we have a darling 7 yo granddaughter now (Mike's girl) that we adore. I'd love to hear from you...
