What We’re Thankful For (Pt.1)…

As we head into the Thanksgiving season, we wanted to share with you some of the things that our Upper Campus students are thankful for. This is part 1 of 2:

The things that I’m thankful for are my family, who loves and cares for me; my friends, who like me for who I am; and the school that I go to, to learn new things everyday. I am thankful for the fact that we are able to have a lot of food on our plates every day and the house that I live in. I am actually thankful that I got adopted. If I hadn’t been, I would’ve been kicked out of the orphanage in a year and had to live my life alone on the streets. – Vera O. 9th grade

I am thankful for my siblings and having them in my life. I love getting to make memories with them, and I love just being with them. They have taught me so much already, and I am thankful to have them. I love my siblings, biological or not. They have changed my life for the better, and I am glad I got to be with them and get to know them. They will continue to be with me and teach me more about myself. – Brooklyn R. 9th grade

I am thankful for the life God has blessed me with. I am thankful I have loving parents who work so hard to provide for me. I am thankful that I have been able to receive an education and learn about the world I live in. I am thankful that God loves me. – Maddy P. 9th grade

I am thankful for my friends and family. Ever since I was little, they have been there for me through good times and bad times. I know that my friends and family are there to talk with me. My friends and family have helped me through many hard times in my life, and I will never forget that. – Josiah R. 9th grade

I am thankful for my friends and family that I care for and that care for me. I am thankful for my good life and for all the things that are in it. I am also thankful for my good school that has good teachers and good classmates. Finally, I am thankful for this wonderful year that God has given and the many more He has in store for me. – Reece M. 9th grade

I am very thankful for a lot of things. My friends and family always ask if I’m okay and what’s going on in my life. That means a lot to me because I know that they love and care for me, and that they also want to know what’s going on with my life. I’m also thankful for what God has given me. He gave me life on earth and eternal life with Him. – Erin B. 9th grade
