BG Christian celebrated its Inaugural Commencement on Saturday May 31st, 2014. Graduating with honors, Zack Hall completed the required course work for Ohio graduation and went down in the school’s books as the first high school graduate in its history.
Zack began at BG Christian as a 7th grader in 2008, the year the high school program began. Coming from Bradner each day, he has enjoyed his experiences, jumping in to every enriching activity as much as his schedule would allow. This year he is finishing up his Eagle Scout project with a Bradner Park information kiosk. Zack also served as Student Council treasurer, helping to raise funds for a different charity each quarter including the Daughter Project, the Humane Society, Mission Possible, and the Ronald McDonald House. Handling the book keeping for the group was great experience for him as he plans to pursue a career in accounting. In his spare time, Zack also filled his calendar with BG Christian basketball and a job at Wayne’s Country Farmhouse.
Already accepted by Bowling Green State University for the coming fall, Zack has been awarded an academic scholarship by the University! As far as graduation goes, he says, “It’s kind of exciting being the first one to pave the way for more people.” Best of luck to this great young man as he starts a new part of his journey.
