BG Christian celebrated their 9th Annual Community Day on Friday May 16th 2014. Community Day serves as a service project for the City of Bowling Green and helps teach students the value of serving in their community.
Each year over 25 teams of B.G. Christian students, staff, parents and volunteers are sent out to support, labor, encourage, and help in the community. During the day, teams visited local nursing homes, cleaned up around the city and help the Relay for Life set up team. Other teams worked on planting and weeding gardens at many different city and county organizations including the Bowling Green City Park, Simpson Garden Park and the Wood County Airport. The Academy singers also sang around the downtown and our second graders visited the Sterling House.
